Top 5 Things to Do on Big Tent

1. Take a Tour. First up, take a quick tour of everything Big Tent has to offer by viewing this 3-minute online tutorial.
2. Update Your Profile. Take a minute to update your profile with some pictures, a little description of yourself, and even some tags describing your interests. If you are part of Flickr, you can even include your Flickr username to share your public photos with the group. Also, if you have any news you'd like to share, you can do it through your own 'journal' in your profile. If you click on the Roster link, you can view other member’s profiles, and even send a "Wave" or an email through Big Tent. We hope this will make it an easy way to meet people who are interested in same things you are - after all, we are a social club!
3. Join a Sub-group. Just click on the Sub-Groups button and join a special interest group like the Book Club or Infant Hiking group. If you want to see community events (non-RVMC) online, be sure to join the Out and About sub-group. And if you want to start a sub-group, just let us know.
4. RSVP for an Event. Click the Events link to see what great events are planned for the future - and RSVP for them online.
5. Post to the Forum. Get to know your fellow members by posting to our Forum. We are a tremendous resource for each other, with members who grew up here and members who’ve just moved to town, moms of newborns and moms of kindergarteners, and more. Chances are one of us has the answer for your question. You can even search Forum postings for recommendations for pediatricians, contractors and dentists galore!
